It’s happening – J.J. Abrams is writing and creating a new drama for HBO.
The Fringe and LOST creator has sold new outer space drama Demimonde to the Westworld network with a full series order, following a tense bidding war with Apple.
The Abrams drama is about a family — consisting of a mother who works as a scientist, her husband and their young daughter — who all get into a terrible car crash.
For the moment, it remains unclear if Abrams might direct the “epic and intimate sci-fi fantasy drama” pilot, as he had with LOST (but not Fringe).
