The Hollywood Reporter brings word that Amazon is developing Lee Child’s Jack Reacher novels into a television series.
The sequel, Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, came out four years later and failed to wow critics or box office tallies.
The first Jack Reacher film, released in 2012, made almost $220 million globally and received mostly positive reviews, despite the initial backlash behind Cruise’s casting.
Amazon Studios, Skydance Television, and Paramount Television will produce the series, the same trio that brought Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan to the streaming platform last year.
