James Ponsoldt, the director behind films like Smashed, The Spectacular Now and The End of the Tour, is set to take on a film based on Larry Niven‘s 1971 short story Inconstant Moon.
The title Inconstant Moon is a reference to William Shakespeare‘s Romeo and Juliet.
The Hollywood Reporter has the news, bringing word that the project is set up at Fox 2000 with Shawn Levy’s 21 Laps producing.
