Variety brings word that Joby Harold (King Arthur: Legend of the Sword) has been enlisted to write Disney+’s upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series.
McGregor took over the role of Obi-Wan for the Star Wars prequel trilogy two decades ago from the late Alec Guinness.
Harold is taking over writing duties from Hossein Amini, who reportedly departed the project in January.
Harold is also writing Zack Snyder’s upcoming movie Army of the Dead and served as an executive producer on John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum.
