Per Deadline, the Kevin Costner/Diane Lane drama Let Him Go topped the weekend box office with a $4.1M opening weekend from 2,454 theaters.
That film collected $1.4M in its second week of release (-45%) and has so far hauled in $5.3M total.
This is the second consecutive film from Focus Features to top the box office charts after the thriller Come Play’s surprise debut over Halloween weekend.
Third place belongs to the Robert DeNiro comedy War With Grandpa ($1.4M/$13.3M total), while Liam Neeson’s action-drama Honest Thief added $1.1M to its $11.2M 5-week total.
