His Jumanji co-star Dwayne Johnson recently even stepped up to the plate for the actor and appeared on Kelly Clarkson’s new talk show in place of Kevin Hart, leaving his honeymoon early to be there for his friend.
Clearly, the press would be able to trek on without him.
Honestly, it might be better for the actor to step back when Jumanji: The Next Level does promotion, simply because if he’s around a lot of people are only going to want to talk about the accident (remember when this happened to Tracy Morgan?) and not the project itself, which would be weird given it should be one of the biggest blockbusters of 2019.
