According to The Hollywood Reporter, Legendary Pictures is developing a live action film based on the Manga series My Hero Academia.
My Hero Academia was created by Kohei Horikoshi in 2014, and has since produced 17 million copies, spawned an animated series, and even an animated film, My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, which released this year.
The outlet describes the series as taking place “in a world where 80 percent of people have developed powers, known as quirks.
Robert Rodriguez’s long-in-development Alita: Battle Angel is the next live-action manga series hitting theaters on Feb. 14, 2019.
