According to Deadline, Whiplash star Miles Teller and two-time Golden Globe nominee Shailene Woodley (Big Little Lies) have officially signed for the leading roles in Icelandic filmmaker Grímur Hákonarson’s forthcoming political satire film titled The Fence.
The film will be directed by Icelandic filmmaker Grímur Hákonarson from a screenplay written by Shane Danielsen based on a story by Hákonarson.
This project marks the fifth collaboration between Teller and Woodley, who have previously starred together in the acclaimed 2013 drama The Spectacular Now and in the Divergent films.
Woodley is best known for her performances in The Descendants, White Bird in a Blizzard, The Fault in Our Stars, Snowden, Adrift, and Big Little Lies which had earned her Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for Best Supporting Actress.
