The world of NCIS is getting bigger in the coming years, as CBS has officially renewed NCIS: Los Angeles and ordered a new series, NCIS: Hawaii, for a future release.
The series will be created and executive produced by NCIS: New Orleans executive producers/showrunner Christopher Silver and Jan Nash, with SEAL Team writer-producer Matt Bosack joining the series as well.
Its most recent endeavor, NCIS: New Orleans, recently finished its seven-season run, and will presumably be replaced by the upcoming NCIS: Hawaii.
The NCIS series has been an extremely lucrative one for CBS, as the original NCIS series is still going strong in its 19th season.
