But apparently Amazon has decided that it wants people to sign up for Amazon Prime specifically for the shows, and it’s made the pilot episodes of a number of its most popular shows available for free on YouTube and Facebook.
Amazon has a number of good-to-great original shows that not a ton of people watch because the shows are only available through Amazon Prime, a subscription service that costs $99 a year.
Also available are the kids’ shows Annedroids, Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street, Just Add Magic, Tumble Leaf and Wishenpoof.
The series are positioned sort of like a bonus feature to Prime membership, which is first and foremost a way to get free shipping on consumer products.
