The director’s new war epic Dunkirk has been placed at 2/1 to win the Oscar for Best Picture with bookmakers William Hill.
Inception is his only film to be up for Best Picture, losing to The King’s Speech in 2010 but equalling its award haul of four.
Check back for our review of Dunkirk tonight, with the worldwide embargo set to drop at 9pm.
If not Best Picture, Nolan surely has a very good chance of landing Best Director, an award he has surprisingly never been nominated for.
