The BBC has confirmed Aidan Turner will return as Ross Poldark in less than two weeks, on Sunday 11 June at 9pm.
Based on Winston Graham’s novels, the third series is based on the fifth and sixth books in the Poldark series, The Black Moon and The Four Swans.
Speaking to The Independent about the upcoming series, Eleanor Tomlinson said: “We’ve got lots of new cast this series.
Already, a fourth season has been commissioned by the BBC, Turner previously saying production would start in September later this year.
