In July 2020, Fisher claimed that Whedon engaged in “gross, abusive, unprofessional and completely unacceptable” behaviour on the set of 2017’s Justice League.
The investigation concluded in December, with WarnerMedia announcing that “remedial action” had been taken.
Last Wednesday (10 February), Charisma Carpenter, who worked with Whedon on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, extended her support to Fisher and made her own accusations against Whedon, which include the claim that she was fired from Angel after having a baby.
Other Buffy and Angel stars have also come forward with support for Carpenter, including Sarah Michelle Gellar, Eliza Dushku and Amy Acker, with Michelle Trachtenberg and Amber Benson also making their own allegations against Whedon.
