Robert Kirkman has seen a lot of success in the adaptation department thanks to AMC’s The Walking Dead and Cinemax’s Outcast and now one of his properties is making its way to the big screen in the form of his upcoming comic Stealth, which is set to be directed by Lee Daniels (The Butler) and have a home at Universal Pictures, according to Deadline.
The script is set to be penned by Iron Man scribes and The Expanse creators and executive producers Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby.
The truth behind the hero’s reckless behavior, which is that he’s an older man battling Alzheimer’s, is known only by reporter Tony Barber, his son.
The first issue of Stealth is set to hit shelves on March 11, 2020, through the Skybound/Image imprint with a story by Mike Costa and art by Nate Bellegarde and Tamra Bonvillain.
