Rogue One: A Star Wars Story opens in U.S. theaters on December 16, 2016, followed by Star Wars: Episode VIII on December 15, 2017, the Han Solo Star Wars Anthology film on May 25, 2018, Star Wars: Episode IX in 2019, and the third Star Wars Anthology film in 2020.
Not only is Rogue One: A Star Wars Story expected to be the first (of many) anthology films set within the universe, it will also mark the first time that fans will get a new Star Wars movie in back-to-back years.
Still, there has been a good amount of footage released to this point, and fans can now see it all in one epic supercut.
The marketing campaign is in the final stretch and recently just released the final trailer for Rogue One, which has received enormously positive reactions.
