Harry Potter star Rupert Grint is in court seeking a refund from HMRC that might see the government pay him back more than £1m.
The potential £1m refund was not confirmed during the proceedings, but was referred to by Clay, who spoke outside the court.
Grint, who earned around £24m for his work on the Potter franchise, is in dispute with the UK government over accounts filed more than five years ago.
“He has paid all his tax up front,” Soares said.
