We previously reported CBS had confirmed several of its key series would already have reduced seasons, though, at the time of the announcement, a decision had not been made on S.W.A.T. The series could plow ahead and finish with a full season, but there is the possibility of things getting cut short by CBS if the situation worsens nationwide with COVID-19.
So while Shemar Moore may be cured and healthy enough to get back on the beat, S.W.A.T. may be staring down the barrel of another shutdown or a shortened season.
For now, the show can focus on having its lead star back, and with delays factored in, just in time to get back into production.
