The Hollywood Reporter brings word that Shrek director Andrew Adamson is in talks to direct and co-write a new Curious George movie for Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment.
The film is being eyed as a live-action version of the popular book series over an animated film.
The last feature film for Curious George released in theaters was in 2006 and featured the voices of Will Ferrell, Drew Barrymore, David Cross, Eugene Levy, and Dick Van Dyke.
Created by H.A. and Margret Rey, Curious George made his debut in 1941 and has gone on to become the subject of countless books, TV shows, movies, live performances, and even video games.
