The new (and extended) TV spot for Spider-Man: Homecoming leans pretty heavily on that element with some serious shout-outs to Spidey’s super-friends. But that’s not the only exciting thing about Spider-Man: Homecoming, which looks like it’ll be plenty fun even when Marvel isn’t creeping in on the action.
Spider-Man: Homecoming also stars Jon Favreau, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Martin Starr, Kenneth Choi, Jacob Batalon and Tony Revolori, and hits theaters on July 7.
The new TV spot opens by revisiting Captain America: Civil War through Spidey’s POV and features some MCU-centric footage we’ve already seen before — like Cap’s “fitness challenge” cameo and the bank robbers wearing Avengers masks.
A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
