According to Deadline, CBS All Access has officially renewed its upcoming Star Trek spin-off series Star Trek: Picard for a 10-episode second season and will reportedly have a budget of more than $20.4 million.
Star Trek: Discovery co-creator and executive producer Alex Kurtzman will oversee development on the new show, which is not a Star Trek: The Next Generation reboot but rather a continuation of Picard’s story.
