Paramount+’s drama series Star Trek: Picard has paused filming after more than 50 members of the production tested positive for COVID on Monday, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The series is led by Sir Patrick Stewart as he returns to the Star Trek Universe to reprise one of his most iconic roles as Jean-Luc Picard.
Star Trek: Picard tells the next story of Picard’s life, which takes place after the events of Star Trek: Next Generation.
Star Trek: Picard is executive produced by Akiva Goldsman and Terry Matalas, who are both serving as showrunners.
