On the heels of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Mick and The Last Man on Earth getting the ax at Fox, Syfy has decided to cancel The Expanse after three seasons, Deadline reports.
The Season 3 finale, which is expected to air in July, will now serve as the series finale.
Alcon Entertainment CEOs Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson, the duo behind the series, plan to shop The Expanse elsewhere.
“We are very disappointed the show will not be returning to Syfy,” they said in a statement to Deadline.
