IFC Films has released the unsettling first trailer for The Nightingale is here, which teases a tale of murder and revenge in 19th-Century Australia.
IFC initially acquired the rights to The Nightingale back in January.
The Nightingale marks director Jennifer Kent’s second feature, following her debut with the 2014 acclaimed horror film The Babadook.
That film also marked her first collaboration with IFC Films and proved to be a critical and commercial hit for the studio and director.
