The Kickstarter will go live on February 15, for any Terminator fans interested in slapping down some of their hard-earned cash to help make the game happen.
While the franchise has fallen on some hard times in recent decades, James Cameron’s original 1984 Terminator film remains one of the most celebrated sci-fi/action films in history.
The sequels would quickly establish a much denser mythology surrounding said cyborg, but that simple launching pad is where the Terminator dynasty all started.
Almost a horror film at heart, The Terminator told a fairly basic story, albeit with a sci-fi twist: boy meets girl, boy falls in love with girl, boy sacrifices his life to protect girl from unstoppable cyborg killing machine that’s traveled across time for the specific purpose of preventing the existence of their son.
