You’ve been worried, we’ve been worried, the stars have been worried, but finally we can all rest just a little bit easier at night now that we know that the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before sequel is one step closer to happening.
Fans have been clamoring for a sequel since To All the Boys premiered in August, particularly since the film is an adaptation of the first book in a trilogy by Jenny Han.
And while the To All the Boys film did borrow some material from the second book, P.S. I Still Love You, anyone who watched the mid-credits scene knows that the next installment would likely feature a new love triangle between Lara Jean (Condor), Peter Kavinsky (Centineo) and John Ambrose McLaren, who showed up on Lara Jean’s doorstep with one of her love letters in the film’s final shot.
So while it’s great news that the sequel is finally in the works, Lara Jean and Peter shippers should prepare themselves for some struggles ahead for the beloved couple.
