Gal Gadot stars in the title role of Wonder Woman, an epic action adventure from director Patty Jenkins (Monster, AMC’s The Killing), marking the DC Super Hero’s first-ever standalone feature film.
The film has officially beaten all the other summer blockbusters of 2017 so far with $400 million with its domestic total as of Tuesday, August 8.
Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, raised on a sheltered island paradise and trained to be an unconquerable warrior.
Patty Jenkins directed the film from a screenplay by Allan Heinberg, story by Zack Snyder & Allan Heinberg and Jason Fuchs, based on characters from DC.
